Ship design is a combination of art, technology and commercial purposes. Building specialized vessel is a complex planning of design process. Design and construction is an integrated system. Hence, Tuong Aik outsources the most innovative global designers as well as local designers for designing process. Even though, we outsource our design works but we ensure the standard by monitoring and controlling the process. We have internal project engineering and design team to oversee and monitor design projects with software tools and solution.

Tuong Aik develops innovative engineering based on the client’s requirements. A well-planned and developed ship design, construction and operation system enable us to save time in designing phase, engineering phase and communication with client. This system also helped us reduced material wastage as it provides an accurate and precise drawings. So it benefits a reduction in production costs.

Tuong Aik also owned CNC Plasma-Oxygen Cutting Machines. It prepares components for production of ships, equipment, and parts used for repairing. CNC Cutting Machine sets a new standard for accuracy, reliability, and power.

Tuong Aik Shipyard projects have covered a wide range of vessels, comprising of  Landing Craft, Multi Purpose Towing Tugs,  Oil & Gas Offshore Vessels, Self Propelled Barges, other small and medium size crafts, General Engineering Structures, and several other jobs for indigenous as well as for exports purposes.
